i wonder
by bigdreaux ini didn't want to hijack the wanderer's new thread about weather the w.t.s.
should be held accountable for shunning, but, in reading it, a thought flashed across my little brain.
he pointed out that apostates that picket conventions are usually the worst kind of "apostates" they usually seem angry and uneducated.

may need some help soon
by Missanna inok so i send my father a letter telling him several reasons i do not believe the witnesses are jehovah's organization.i also told my father at the end of the letter that i was setting some boundaries once and for all.
that i would not be emotionally blackmailed or verbally abused anymore that if he wanted to talk to me as a father then i welcome that and if he can't do that then i do not wish to comunicate with him.
i sent it about a week ago and was waiting for all hell to break loose but nothing happend.

read the Bible for yourself
by a friend inseems a lot of people are depending on everyone else to solve their problem.
questions like who is jehovah, who is jesus, what is the truth, are some of the deep spiritual truths asked by all of us.
however, the bible is the one to turn to when questioning.

Seems a lot of people are depending on everyone else to solve their problem. Questions like who is Jehovah, who is Jesus, what is the truth, are some of the deep spiritual truths asked by all of us. However, the Bible is the one to turn to when questioning. I know this because I questioned. Because of God's love for me, He began to give me answers when I sincerely spent time with His Word. So... the Bible, God's Word, God's speaking to me, was the only answer for me. Truth was very plain. I am very thankful for His mercy and unconditional love toward me that while I was a sinner, He offered himself to take my place of punishment. An awesome God, I must say. And the only God that is alive and well.

The first time anyone was called Christian was in Antioch and reported in the Book of Acts. These that were first called Christians were before called followers of "The Way" - that is, those followers of "the Way" were following Jesus. So, if we are to be called Christian, then we are followers of Jesus. The only way to follow Jesus is to know the Word that was written for us to follow. This is not easy. But this is the answer - know the Word. John 1: 1-14 spells this out for us pretty plainly. The word Christian has been mauled over pretty often, but it in its true form is a good word. Just thought I'd add my thoughts here.
